Aha! A Coke counter

Our Bureau

MUMBAI: It is understood that Coca-Cola India has prepared a `pre-emptive' advertisement campaign for Thums-Up to counter a `possible' impending campaign for Pepsi's new cola product which is said to have lemon added to it.

Called Khatta-Meetha, it features actor Salman Khan who intervenes in a squabble between two boys drinking an `unknown cola' and debating whether it is khatta or meetha. Salman Khan offers them Thums-Up `aha' (which is apparently the name of the new Pepsi product) and tastes the unknown cola, only to spit it out in disgust.

Coca-Cola has signed up actress Sushmita for its Thums-Up campaign for the season. It continues to retain Salman Khan.

It has signed up cricketer Virendra Sehwag. Some activity was likely to happen in select regions around the Harry Porter film that is coming up, sources said.
