Corporation Bank felicitates staff

Our Bureau

MANGALORE: Corporation Bank felicitated its `super achievers' at an award ceremony held in New Delhi on Thursday.

The bank's `corporate awards' are given to those who are said to have `excelled in all areas of operation under the recognition schemes.'

According to a press release issued here on Friday, the awards — the `super-ordinate goal awards and the Chairman's Club awards are meant to recognise the performance of branch managers and their teams.

The Chairman's Club award, for instance, is given for uniformly good performance of branch heads and their teams in key areas identified as part of the bank's corporate goals. The `super-ordinate scheme for resource mobilisation' involves voluntary acceptance by branches of higher targets than those set by the management.
