Special rebate for khadi

Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has declared a special rebate for khadi products on March 22 and 23.

The rebate is at the rate of 20 per cent for cotton khadi, wool, spun silk and polyvastra and 10 per cent for reeled silk. The rebate will be available with institutions recognised for selling products of the Khadi Commission and the Khadi Board, and will be in addition to the rebate announced by the Khadi Board itself, according to the Director (Kerala) of KVIC.
