Standards & Benchmarks NEG Micon India gets Det Norske Veritas certification Our Bureau
CHENNAI, Dec. 2 NEG Micon (India) Pvt Ltd has been awarded the Det Norske Veritas certifications for quality management, environment management, and health and safety management for its installation and service functions, according to a press release from NEG on Monday. The company plans to set up manufacturing bases for allied products and technologies to wind turbine generators. The wholly owned subsidiary of NEG Micon, Denmark, has got ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System, ISO 14001-Environment Management System and OHSAS 18001 - Health and Safety Management System Certification for its installation and service functions. The company had a single audit for all the certifications and Det Norske Veritas recommended it, the release said.
