Auditors qualify Natco Pharma H1 accounts

HYDERABAD, Dec. 2

THE statutory auditors of Natco Pharma Ltd have qualified the accounts of the company for the six months ended September 30, 2002.

In a communiqué to stock exchanges, the company said these qualifications were part of the limited review conducted by the auditors.

The auditors observed that the company was in the process of obtaining confirmation of balances with respect to sundry debtors and advances.

According to them, sundry debtors include an amount of Rs 11.09 crore, which was not acknowledged by the other party, against which the company has initiated legal action for recovery.

Accordingly, the company has not made any provision against the sundry debtors, the auditors said.
