Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: The Indian School of Business (ISB) three-day workshop on `Entrepreneurship Teaching and Mentoring', for faculty from various academic institutions in the country began here on Sunday.

The workshop is an initiative of the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (WCED), and is a first of its kind organised by a B-school, the ISB claimed in a release.

It would be attending by specially invited faculty from leading Business schools such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), technical schools like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs), now called the National Institutes of Technology and others from different parts of the country.

The WCED is one of the first six Centres of Excellence set up by the ISB. It works towards creating entrepreneurs from among the student community at the ISB and also promotes entrpreneurship through a wide spectrum of activities-research, mentoring, teaching, training, enterprise-partnering etc.
