Bhusan Steel, Sumitomo extend pact

NEW DELHI, Feb. 23

BHUSAN Steel and Strips Ltd and Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd have entered into a strategic alliance for technical collaboration. The two companies, which have a six-year collaboration now, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for extending the technical collaboration for another six years.

According to the MoU, Sumitomo will provide process knowhow for manufacturing automotive steel sheets and will give top priority for supply of hot-rolled coils to Bhusan Steels for producing cold-rolled coils for the automotive industry.
