Ceat cuts prices

MUMBAI, March 6

CEAT Ltd has announced a cut in the prices of its tyre products by five per cent following a reduction in excise duty to 24 per cent from 32 per cent on tyres.

Truck tyres will now be lower by Rs 700-900 per pair, LCV tyres lower by Rs 300-350 per pair, passenger car tyres down by Rs 100-150 per pair and utility vehicle tyre down by Rs 175-200 per pair.
