SHAF Broadcast Pvt Ltd, the Indian business partner of US-based Trustix, has announced that it has installed the Trustix Linux network security solutions for Sahara TV.

" Sahara has taken four out of the five Trustix security products including mail, proxy, firewall and fire-servers - that will cover the infrastructure of Sahara TV headquarters and their 100 mobile and remote users," said Mr Nils Viken, Trustix Sales Director.

" The total cost of the package would be around $ 100, 000 with the installation at Sahara's Delhi and Mumbai offices costing the company $60,000 each,' said Mr Viken. According to him, the solution will go live next week.

On Trustix's plans in the near future, Mr Viken said that the company was in talks with potential business partners and was expected to announce tie-ups with three major resellers shortly.
