NEW DELHI, March 7

IN an effort to kick-start the demutualisation of stock exchanges, the Federation of Indian Stock Exchanges, comprising about 20 regional exchanges will be meeting on Saturday to chalk out a roadmap.

Mr G.N. Bajpai, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), will address the meeting and members from 16 regional exchanges are expected to be present.

Among the other issues that will be taken up are the guidelines of SEBI regarding delisting of securities, Euronext model, and participation in a national-level commodity exchange, securities awareness campaign and issues relating to subsidiaries.
