The Hindu Business Line : IA reschedules flights for 3 days

INDIAN Airlines (IA) and its 100 per cent subsidiary, Alliance Air, have rescheduled some of their flights for three days from Delhi beginning March 17 due to Holi.

In a statement, the airline has said that on March 17, flights IC-803/505 and IC-430 have been combined with flight IC-439 to operate on the Delhi-Bangalore-Chennai-Delhi sector. The flight is now scheduled to leave Delhi at 6.30 a.m., arrive in Bangalore at 9.35 a.m. and reach Chennai at 11 a.m. The flight is expected back in the Capital from Chennai at 1.30 p.m.

The airline has also combined two flights (IC-165 and IC-167) on the Delhi-Mumbai sector and the combined flight is now scheduled to leave from Delhi at 9 a.m. for three days starting March 17.

Similarly, the airline has combined the operations of IC-887 and IC-865, which operates on the Delhi-Mumbai sector for three days from March 17. The newly combined flight will depart from Delhi at 12 p.m. on all the three days.

The airline has also cancelled the operation of Alliance Air flight on the Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi sector for three days from March 17. Furthermore, on March 18 and 19, the flight IC-805 on the Delhi-Mumbai sector has been combined with IC-863 and is now scheduled to leave at 8 p.m.

It has announced that on March 19, the Delhi-Bangalore flight IC-803 has been combined with IC-506 and will now leave Delhi at 9.30 a.m. Similarly, on March 19, flight IC-439 to Chennai has been combined with IC-429 and is now scheduled to leave the Capital at 9.55 a.m. The airline has also cancelled the operation of Alliance Air flight CD-7849/7850 on the Delhi-Pune route for March 19.
