Panel set up to develop land customs stations

NEW DELHI, March 20

THE Union Government has constituted an inter-ministerial committee for the development of land customs stations, which would facilitate trade with neighbouring countries and also contribute significantly to the economic development of the north-eastern region.

An official release said the committee has been specifically set up to deliberate on the issues connected with the development of infrastructure for promoting international trade through land customs stations.
