Tata AIG to expand operations in Kerala

KOCHI: Enthused by the encouraging response that Tata AIG has elicited in Kerala, the company would expand its operations from Kochi. As a first step in this direction, the company has converted its Kochi office into a full-fledged branch, the Tata AIG Managing Director, Mr Ian J. Watts, told reporters.

Within the last one year, the company has added 400 individual agents to take its top of the line products and services to the doorstep of consumers in Kochi. In addition, it has tied up with corporate agents like Muthoot Insurance Services, Buoyant Insurance Services etc. to expand its distribution system and reach out to consumers in the State, he said.
