Bangalore to host 3-day PR meet in April

BANGALORE, March 26

THE Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) will hold an international conference in Bangalore from April 10 to 21. Professionals of mass media will attend the three-day conference from different parts of the country and the Vice-President, Mr Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, is likely to inaugurate it.

To be hosted by the Bangalore chapter of PRSI, the meet will deliberate on various issues relating the PR profession.

A special discussion on `International conference on communication for global peace' will have eminent persons such as Dr Karan Singh, former Union Minster and educationist, Ms Margaret Moscardi, Executive Director, Global Public Relations Alliance, South Africa, Dr L.M. Singhvi, former High Commissioner, and Mr Arthur Lafair, Director, UN Information Centre, New Delhi sharing their views on the occasion.

Corporate CEOs and practitioners of PR from various organisations will also participate in several panel discussions. The topics of discussion include `Is money the root of all evil?', `Ecological balance for inner peace and relevance of PR' and `Advertising to global peace'.
