BANGALORE: Microsoft Corporation India, in conjunction with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), on Monday flagged off its 5-city seminar series on Software Asset Management (SAM).

Starting from New Delhi, the one-day seminars will be held in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai over the course of the next few days. With the objective of generating awareness on the issue of SAM among organisations, the seminars would seek to deliver in-depth information on the benefits of treating software as an asset and providing ready tools that could be implemented to ensure compliance, a Microsoft release said.
