Plaza Cables to set up two units in Himachal

NEW DELHI, April 14

HOUSEHOLD electric equipment manufacturer Plaza Cables is setting up two new units at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh to manufacture house wiring and MCB (miniature circuit breaker) switchgears at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

The units would start production by August and produce goods worth Rs 50 crore annually, according to a company press release.

The 25-year-old company has recently diversified into production of electrical accessories, modular switches, lighting fixtures and switchgears.

The company has an annual turnover of Rs 100 crore.
