Our Bureau

NEW DELHI, April 19

IDEA Cellular on Saturday announced a reduction in airtime charges on mobile-to-mobile STD calls to 50 paise per minute.

The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) component of the STD call would, however, remain unchanged at Rs 2.99 per minute.

In addition, subscribers would not be required to pay airtime charge on mobile-to-mobile ISD calls and the new rates would be applicable from April 20, for both pre-paid and post-paid customers, a company release said here.
