LogicaCMG to enter E&U market

LogicaCMG announced its entry into the energy and utilities (E&U) market in India. As a first step to this initiative, LogicaCMG demonstrated its market-leading solution, Prodis, at the SAP summit in Mumbai from June 14 to 16 . Prodis, powered by SAP NetWeaver, manages and accounts for the production of hydrocarbons from a reservoir, through production facilities, pipelines and terminals to the sales point.

Prodis solution is currently deployed at over 30 offshore platforms, five gas terminals and three pipelines and manages over 70 per cent of the UK and 33 per cent of the Dutch gas storage capacity.

As part of LogicaCMG's commitment to its SAP practice, the company plans to add 200 SAP professionals to its team in Bangalore by the end of 2006.
