Thomas Cook launches first AP franchisee

Hyderabad, Aug. 24 Thomas Cook (India) plans to open 35 Gold Circle franchisee outlets across the country by December, according to its Chief Operating Officer, Mr Vishal Suri.

Through the Gold Circle outlets, the company wants to cater to the needs of the increasing number of travellers from Tier-II cities, he said while launching an outlet here on Thursday.

The franchisee outlets in partnership with a local company will benefit from Thomas Cook’s 100 per cent Holidays and knowledge sharing, training and expertise to manage the business, he said in a press release on the occasion.

The first franchisee in Andhra Pradesh, Kapil Travel World, would operate out of Secunderabad. It is an associate company of the Rs 1,000-crore Kapil Group, having a presence in non-banking financial services, agro, property etc.
