MTNL to source Alcatel access node
NEW DELHI: Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has selected the Alcatel Litespan multi-service access node for the deployment of 104,000 lines. The contract, worth 13 million Euros, foresees the installation of the equipment during the first quarter of
2000, according to an Alcatel press release.
The contract has been won through ITI Ltd, a leading telecom manufacturer and Alcatel's long-standing partner in the Indian market. ITI will contribute to the manufacturing of the equipment. _ Our Bureau
