Haier has introduced the ‘i-cool’ range of air conditioners with wi-fi capabilities, which allow users to operate the controls from anywhere in the world through an app on an android phone. This includes turning the unit on and off, adjusting temperature, and creating and managing a cooling or heating schedule. It has a nano-aqua ioniser to keep skin moisturised and lower air dust levels, advanced noise control technology, and a “turbo/quiet” button for instant cooling. Available in black-and-white, golden and red variants, it costs ₹45,000-60,000.
