Anjani Portland Cement Ltd sold Hitech Print Systems Ltd and 49 per cent stake in Vennar Ceramics Ltd.
The board of directors of the company, at its meeting held on Friday, had approved the disinvestment of its 49 per cent stake in Vennar Ceramics and 100 per cent in Hitech Prints Systems, the Bombay Stock Exchange was informed. Subsequent to this disinvestment; the company does not have any other investments.
Vennar Ceramics was established in the year 1998 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Anjani in 2001. It has a plant at Perikigudem village in Krishna district and was the first gas-based power generating plant in India with a capacity of 2.7 MW.
Hitech Print Systems Ltd was taken over by Anjani Cement in 2007. It has a manufacturing facility at Peddavutupalli in Krishna district and 200 employees on its rolls.
