Luxury car maker Audi India has reported 20.52 per cent rise in sales at 875 units in August against 726 units sold in the same month last year.
During January-August, the company’s sales went up 18.86 per cent to 6,426 units from 5,406 units in the same period of 2012, the company said in a statement.
Audi India Head Joe King said: “We are extremely confident that our exciting products and efficient network will enable us to meet our targets in spite of the current adverse economic sentiments.’’
He further said that Audi has continuously performed well in the first eight months of this year and would maintain the momentum during the difficult market conditions.
In August, the company had launched Audi Q3 S Edition and Audi Club India, the first dedicated club for Audi owners in India.
The company had also opened its third showroom in Delhi — Audi Delhi Central last month.
