State-run BEML Ltd’s standalone net loss widened to ₹ 107.10 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net loss from ordinary activities after tax of ₹ 68.10 crore in the year-ago period, BEML Ltd said in a BSE filing today.
Net sales declined to ₹ 291.93 crore, over₹ 581.30 crore in the year corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
Total expenses dropped to ₹ 397.84 crore from ₹ 653.89 crore in the year-ago period.
BEML operates in three major business verticals for associated equipment manufacturing — mining and construction, defence and rail and metro.
