Berger Paints India Ltd has posted 20 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 115 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2017, compared with Rs 96 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations grew 2 per cent to Rs 1,191 crore during the period under review, against 1,168 crore in the same period last year.
Kolkata-based Berger Paints earned a profit of around Rs 87 crore from transfer of its paint division pertaining to 4-wheeler passenger cars and SUVs, 3-wheeler and related ancillaries, the company said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchange.
