The British Paints division of Berger Paints India has commenced commercial production of its paint and putty plant at Nalbari in Assam on Wednesday. According to a notification to the bourses, the plant has a capacity of 6,600 KL/mt per annum of solvent and water-based paints and 7,200 mtpa of putty and distemper.
The company scrip closed at ₹234.70, up by 1.93 per cent, on the BSE, on Wednesday.
