Coal India Limited has registered a 9.2 per cent growth in coal output at 477.31 million tonnes for the first 11 months of this fiscal (April – February 2016) as compared to the same period last year.
The company has also moved (offtake) 483.14 million tonnes of coal to its customers during the period April-February 2016, a 9.3 per cent growth over the same period last year, it said in a release.
Rake loading also clocked a growth of 9.6 per cent, with CIL loading around 210.9 rakes per day during the first 11 months of this fiscal; against the average of 192.5 rakes per day for the corresponding period last year.
