The Mumbai-based brand research and consulting firm World Consulting & Research Corporation (WCRC) said it would launch its first indexed compilation on Asian brands in August.
Called Asia’s Most Promising Brands, the publication that is proposed to carry the results of the research, will be in different formats including a coffee table book, a paperback and a portal.
The exercise would be evaluated and validated by KPMG in India, said Abhimanyu Ghosh, Executive Editor & Managing Director of WCRC.
A jury panel led by Professor Malcolm McDonald, Chairman of Brand Finance (Executive Chairman of the Jury) and Lord Swaraj Paul, Chairman of Caparo Group (UK), Lord Karan Bilimoria, Chairman of Cobra Beer (UK) and Mehul Choksi, Chairman and Managing Director, Gitanjali Group (India), would be involved in the selection process.
It would be formally launched during a brand summit in Dubai.
