Power management company Eaton today announced its “strategic commitment to double the business in India” by combining the legacy Cooper and former Eaton’s Electrical businesses.
To this effect, Eaton today named Syed Sajjadh Ali as the Managing Director, India, Electrical Sector – Asia Pacific responsible for leading the complete electrical sector organization in India.
Ali was previously the Managing Director of Cooper Bussman India; Eaton acquired Cooper Bussman’s parent company, Cooper Industries plc, in November last year. Cooper Bussman India had a plant in Puducherry.
In a press release, Eaton has spoken of consolidating its power quality and power distribution divisions in India.
