India Power Corporation Ltd (IPCL), formerly DPSC Ltd, charged the 220/3kV sub-station at JK Nagar in Assansol on November 1.
This system will also augment the receiving capability of IPCL by 250 MVA, it said in a release.
By way of energising this sub-station, the IPCL network is now connected to the national grid.
