Info Edge (India) Ltd, which runs internet businesses such as Naukri.com, Jeevansathi.com, 99acres.com, and Shiksha.com, on Wednesday announced a 25.7 per cent rise in net profit at ₹128.5 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2014 compared with ₹102.25 crore in the previous financial year.
Total income for FY14 rose by 15.7 per cent at ₹505.87 crore compared with ₹437.25 crore last year. Net profit for the fourth quarter rose by 430 per cent at ₹33.6 crore, compared with ₹6.34 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY13. The total income for the quarter went up 18 per cent at ₹138.18 crore compared with ₹117.07 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. During the year, recruitment solutions grew by 9.8 per cent while the real estate vertical grew by 47.2 per cent, the company said in a statement. The scrip ended 0.84 per cent higher at ₹573.10 on the BSE on Wednesday.
