Philips India has entered the pain management category with products — Infraphil and InfraCare — focusing on the aspect of an active life with less aches and pains.
ADA Ratnam, President of Philips India’s consumer lifestyle division, said, “The introduction of pain management as a new category is a reaffirmation of our commitment to offer products that will help consumers lead a healthy and active lifestyle. We aim to provide the best technology and most innovative solutions to our consumers who are now more informed, aware and ready to adopt active lifestyle solutions,” said.
Both the products are targeted at consumers looking to heal chronic aches and pains and claims to provide ‘deep and focused warmth’. It claims that patients can reduce side-effects of pain killers.
The products will be distributed through traditional retail outlets, pharmacies and online retails channels such as Flipkart.
