Power Mech Projects Limited has posted a net profit of Rs 20.36 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2015, a growth of 31.61 per cent over Rs 15.47 crore it registered for the corresponding quarter last year.
For the third quarter, the total income of the company, engaged in integrated power infrastructure services, was up 9.86 per cent at Rs 354.80 crore, as against Rs 322.95 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2015, the company logged total income of Rs 973.62 crore as against Rs 986.50 crore. The net profit for nine months was up 2.79 per cent year on year at Rs 54.49 crore.
S Kishore Babu, Chairman and Managing Director of Power Mech in a statement said, the company has come out with flying colours in spite of a gloomy scenario.
The company’s board on Saturday reappointed S. Kishore Babu as CMD for a period of 5 years from April 1, 2016.
Power Mech shares remained flat at Rs 536.25 at BSE today.
