Pricol Ltd, an auto components maker, has opened a ₹15-crore plant in Pune, according to a company statement. The unit has come up on a 6.58-acre site in Phulgaon where the company has invested only on the plant and machinery in a leased building. The factory is expected to serve vehicle makers such as Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltdand for its global operations, said Vikram Mohan, Managing Director, Pricol Ltd. The Pune factory aims to generate an annual revenue of ₹ 220 crore in the next two years.
