Ricoh India, which provides printing, document solutions and IT services, has opened its first ‘experience’ outlook, has opened its first ‘experience’ outlet in Hyderabad where it showcases the whole range of its products.
Ricoh India Executive Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer said that the outlet would not cut into the sales of its franchises and other resellers. “It, in fact, would help them increase their business as it would throw light on the company offerings. We are planning to open 10-15 such experience zones in top cities in the next one year,” he said.
Addressing reporters after inaugurating the outlet here on Friday, he said the company would achieve a growth rate of 50 per cent this year and would continue the same pace next financial year. He put the capital expenditure at Rs 400 crore for the year.
The firm, listed on Bombay Stock Exchange, registered a turnover of Rs 409 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2014, and a net profit of Rs 10 crore. For the first nine months, its turnover stood at Rs 1,009 crore.
The firm had recently bagged a Rs 1370-crore order from the Department of Posts.
