Unichem Laboratories today reported a 11.28 per cent dip in standalone net profit at Rs 20.52 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 23.13 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Unichem Laboratories said in a filing to the BSE.
Standalone total income from operations, however, rose to Rs 368.03 crore for the quarter under consideration against Rs 309.79 crore in the same period a year ago.
Unichem manufactures and markets pharmaceutical formulations in India and several other markets across the world.
Shares of Unichem Laboratories were today trading at Rs 280.90 per scrip in the afternoon trade on the BSE, down 7.70 per cent from its previous close.
