Harrisons Malayalam Limited-RP Sanjiv Goenka Group has won maximum awards in the 12{+t}{+h} edition of The Golden Leaf India Award: Southern Tea Competition (TGLIA: STC) held at Dubai.
TGLIA is the first ever structured tea competition and is a joint initiative of the Tea Board and United Planters Association of South India (UPASI).
HML got three awards each for its Lochart and Wentworth factories situated in high ranges and Wayanad and three awards for its Pattumalai factory situated in Travancore area.
The teas were evaluated by a jury of international tea tasters. These factories of HML are also certified by national and international certifying bodies such as Trustea, RFA, ETP and UTZ.
Together with these certifications, we can now say that our products are of international quality and also conform to international sustainability and product safety standards, N. Dharmaraj, Chief Executive of the company said in a statement.
