Logistics major Gati has adopted a tiger at the Nehru Zoological Park as a contribution towards wildlife conservation.
On the occasion of Gati's 25 years and as a part of its corporate social responsibility, the company has donated Rs 1 lakh to the park which will go towards wildlife conservation in the maintenance and care of a tiger for the period of one year.
In a press release, the company said N.K. Pandey, senior Vice-President, GATI-KWE and Pitter Jay Kumar, Chief Financial Officer, Gati Ltd, handed over the cheque to the zoo officials today.
