Sundaram Infotech Solutions Ltd, the IT arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, has bagged a multi-year onsite-cum-offshore IT contract from a US firm that specialises in environment management solutions for the US Federal Government and corporates.
The client's name was not disclosed due to confidentiality norms. The value of the deal was also not disclosed.
As part of the transaction, Sundaram Infotech will design and develop a high-level vertical software solution for the US firm using the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP platform.
From its offshore facility in Chennai, Sundaram Infotech will carry out work relating to the development of the modules, while consultancy work will be undertaken onsite in the US, says a release from the Chennai-based IT company.
