LIC's policy for women

LIC has launched a new money-back plan "Jeevan Bharti" for women. The policy comes with a critical illness cover and congenital disability benefits for women in the 18-50 age group for fixed terms of 15 and 20 years.

The policy can be taken from Rs 50,000 to Rs 25 lakh in multiples of Rs 5,000. The plan provides for payment of 20 per cent of the sum assured at the end of five years and 10 years in case of a 15-year policy and at the end of 5,10 and 15 years for a 20-year policy.
