Online shopping portal Jabong.com and cricket equipment maker SG Cricket on Tuesday unveiled a range of cricket bats — VS319 — which will be sold exclusively through the former’s online shopping network.
Jabong.com would exclusively retail SG Cricket’s collection of four bats, commemorating Virender Sehwag’s 319 runs against South Africa in 2008.
Commenting on the development, Jabong.com Managing Director Manu Jain said: “Jabong.com has had a long association with SG Cricket and has become the exclusive online retail partner for launching this collection.”
Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag unveiled the range here, consisting of bats priced between Rs 1,599 and Rs 5,999.
“We are confident of our association with Jabong.com and are sure that it will result into a mutually beneficial relationship,” SG Cricket Director Paras Anand said.
The partnership with Jabong would help supplying bats in every nook and corner of the country, Anand added.
Jabong.com sells around 50,000 products across various categories including shoes and apparels through its online network.
