Alstom T&D India Ltd has resumed operations at its Chennai facilities from December 7. There has been no material damage to property and assets, the company said in an exchange filing on Tuesday. Deliveries, however, are expected to be delayed due to the shutdown, it said. The company’s manufacturing facilities at Pallavaram and Padappai in Chennai were closed for four days from December 3-6 due to floods. Shares of Alstom T&D India edged down 0.5 per cent at ₹478.7 on the NSE.

The debenture committee constituted by the board of directors of Capital First on Tuesday approved issue of rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible subordinated securities in the nature of debentures of ₹20 crore and another ₹30 crore as green shoe option on private placement basis. Shares of Capital First closed at ₹384, a gain of 1.65 per cent on the NSE.

Steel Strips Wheels Ltd has informed the exchanges that it has bagged additional export order for unassembled steel wheels from an Egyptian customer. The total order for 2016 is 2 lakh wheels worth $1.5 million. This order is to be executed from SSWL's Dappar facility. The company is looking forward to a long-term relationship as it expects the order to grow to 7 lakh wheels worth $5.5 million in three years. SSWL is currently in advance discussions for additional business opportunity for passenger car wheels from Chennai facility and truck wheels from Jamshedpur facility. Shares of Steel Strips gained 3.2 per cent at ₹377.85 on the NSE.
