Auto stocks were the predominant gainers on the BSE on Tuesday afternoon. At 2.45 pm M&M held gains of 3.80 per cent at ₹1,229.60 as against ₹1,184.60 at close on Monday.
ONGC flared up 2.61 per cent at ₹402.75 as against ₹392.50 at close yesterday.
Bajaj Auto gained 2.54 per cent to trade at ₹2,146.35 as against ₹2,093.20 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors rose 2.24 per cent to quote at ₹456.80. The stock ended Monday’s session at ₹446.80.
HDFC traded up 2.14 per cent to quote at ₹1,053.10 as against ₹1,031 at the close yesterday.
