Vedanta surged 6.5 per cent to lead the pack on the BSE in late trading on Tuesday. At 3.05 pm the share was trading at Rs 226.10 as against Rs 212.30 at close yesterday.
Tata Steel extended its gains to quote at Rs 379.20, up 4.95 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 361.30.
Hindalco Industries spiked up 4.77 per cent at Rs 139.60. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 133.25.
ONGC rallied further to notch up gains of 4.29 per cent at Rs 341.70 as against Rs 327.65 at close on Monday.
Hindustan Unilever rode up 2.01 per cent at Rs 878.50. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 861.15
