The board of TV Today Network on Monday approved the increase in foreign investment limit for foreign portfolio investors/foreign institutional investors up to 26 per cent and for non-resident Indians (NRIs) up to 24 per cent of the paid-up capital of the company. However, the approval is subject to the maximum permissible limit of 26 per cent of the paid-up capital of TV Today, under the Portfolio Investment Scheme. The company will present the proposal to shareholders for approval. Shares of TV Today surged 7 per cent at ₹220.15 on the BSE.
The preferential allotment committee of Oberoi Realty on Monday approved the allotment of 1.1 crore equity shares to Aranda Investments (Mauritius) Pte Ltd at ₹295 a share. The aggregate value of the allotment would be ₹324.5 crore. Shares of Oberoi Realty closed at ₹277.7, down 0.9 per cent on the BSE.
Vivro Financial Services Pvt Ltd, on behalf of Anna Aluminum Company Pvt Ltd, Bobby M Jacob and Minny Bobby, has made an open offer to the shareholders of Victory Paper & Boards India . The acquirers plan to purchase up to 35.10 lakh fully paid-up equity shares of face value ₹10 each, constituting 26 per cent of the issued, subscribed and paid-up capital of Victory Paper & Boards. The proposed acquirers are offering ₹5 a share to the shareholders of the target company. The stock has been suspended from trading on the BSE and was last traded at ₹2.7 on October 8, 2010.
