The allotment committee of the board of directors of IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals on Tuesday allotted five lakh equity shares of ₹10 each to Innova Marchantiles, a non-promoter entity. The shares were allotted on the exercise of options attached to the warrants that were allotted on July 4, 2014. The stock of IOL Chemicals surged 5.73 per cent at ₹75.60 on the BSE.
IFGL Refractories has informed the exchanges that normal operations have resumed from August 17 at the company’s subsidiaries - Tianjin Monocon Refractories Ltd and Tianjin Monocon Aluminous Refractories Co Ltd - in China. Earlier, the company on August 13 had suspended operations at the units following an explosion in the Tianjin Industrial Area of China. Shares of IFGL closed at ₹132.10 against the previous day’s close of ₹131 on the BSE.
The board of directors of Schneider Electric Infrastructure approved allotment of 4.7 crore 8 per cent cumulative redeemable preference shares of the company to Energy Grid Automation Transformers and Switchgears India Private Ltd, its promoter company. Shares of Schneider Electric Infrastructure edged up 1.2 per cent at ₹199.95 on the BSE.
