Kitex Garments has informed the exchanges that Kitex USA LLC is scheduled to open its office in New Jersey by October 5. The company aims a turnover of $50 million within the next five years through the Lamaze Brand. The company proposes to launch its own brand of infantwear labelled ‘Little Star’ in the US by October 2016. Shares of Kitex Garments moved up 2.7 per cent at ₹771.1 on the NSE.

Everest Kanto Cylinder has informed the exchanges that some of the workmen at its Gandhidham plant in Gujarat have been on strike from September 14 on the issue of wage revision. The company is in discussions with the Assistant Labour Commissioner to resolve the situation at the earliest. Shares of Everest Kanto Cylinder gained 1.24 per cent at ₹8.15 on the NSE.

TD Power Systems has received an order from a large multinational company in Europe to supply multiple units of 10-MW generators to be installed in a power plant in Germany. The total installed capacity will be 200 MW. The supply will start from July 2016 and will be completed by November 2016. This will be the biggest installation by TD Power in Germany. With this contract, TD Power expects this large installation reference to open the doors to other European customers in the coming years. Meanwhile, in a separate notification, the company said that BC Harish, Chief Executive Officer of its wholly owned subsidiary DF Power Systems Private Ltd, has resigned and has been relieved from his services with effect from September 15. Shares of TD Power Systems closed at ₹287.45, down 4.75 per cent on the NSE.
