TD Power Systems acquired Platin 1255 GmbH, a Germany-based company, on January 12. The company, however, did not disclose the cost of acquisition. TD Power said in a notification to the exchanges that Platin had no operations at the time of acquisition and added the main object was to manage its assets. TD Power Systems has filed applications with the authorities in Germany to change the name of the company to TD Power Systems Europe GmbH. The susbidiary will focus on marketing, distribution and servicing of the company’s products in the European Union and other neighbouring countries. Shares of TD Power Systems jumped 8.7 per cent at ₹273.7 on the NSE.

Siemens has bagged two orders worth ₹267 crore for supply of insulated substations. One of the orders, placed by PSI International, an arm of Petronas, worth ₹155 crore, is for the supply of 420kV gas insulated switchgears for PSI International’s greenfield project, Siemens said in an exchange filing. The other order is worth ₹112 crore and has been given by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam. Shares of Siemens climbed 2.6 per cent at ₹1,000.50 on the NSE.

The board o f Capital First on Friday approved the allotment of listed, rated, redeemable, transferable, secured, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) against ₹210 crore raised through a private placement of these instuments. The company had placed 2,100 NCDs of face value ₹10 lakh each. The NCDs will be listed on the NSE, under the wholesale debt market segment. Shares of Capital First closed at ₹381.2, up 3.2 per cent on the NSE.
