J Kumar Infraprojects on Thursday said its joint venture with Supreme Infrastructure India has received a ₹223-crore order from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, for construction of a six-lane bridge. J Kumar Infraprojects’ share in the joint venture is 60 per cent or ₹134 crore of the total order size, it informed the exchanges. The joint venture will construct the bridge over Ulhas River on Mankoli-Motagaon road. Shares of J Kumar Infra ended down 4.7 per cent at ₹301.05 on the NSE.

Bharat Heavy Electricals has bagged an order worth ₹3,500 crore from NTPC to supply two 800 MW steam generators or boilers to the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project. The project is located within NTPC’s existing Ramagundam Power Station in Karimnagar district of Telangana. The key equipment for the contract will be manufactured at BHEL’s plants at Trichy, Ranipet, Hyderabad, Jhansi, and Bengaluru, and the company’s power sector division will be responsible for the civil works and commissioning of the equipment. Shares of BHEL crashed 6.05 per cent at ₹120.25 on the NSE.

Jewellery firm Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) has collaborated with top e-tailer Amazon to sell its exquisite diamond jewellery range and gold coins, the company said in a BSE filing. TBZ already has a tie-up with e-retail giants Snapdeal and Flipkart. The online jewellery platform is witnessing good traction since its launch, the company said in its investor presentation. However, shares of TBZ tumbled 6.6 per cent at ₹58.3 on the NSE.
