Sadbhav Engineering has informed the exchanges that due to the Jat reservation issue-related agitation/violence in Haryana, toll operations of the company’s step-down subsidiary - Rohtak Panipat Tollway Pvt Ltd – was temporarily affected from February 17. The company has, however, not mentioned any financial impact due to the violence. Shares of Sadbhav Engineering slumped 4.85 per cent at ₹207 on the BSE.
IIFL Holdings has informed the exchanges that the board of directors of IIFL Wealth Management (IIFLW) on Thursday approved the allotment of 17.05 lakh equity shares of IIFLW at ₹586.70 apiece to General Atlantic Singapore Fund Pte Ltd, pursuant to receipt of total consideration of ₹100 crore. The board of IIFLW, subsidiary of IIFL Holdings, also allotted 136.36 lakh warrants pursuant to receipt of 25 per cent upfront consideration of ₹215.75 crore from General Atlantic. Earlier, in October 2015, General Atlantic had entered into an agreement with IIFLW for investment. The stock of IIFL Holdings closed at ₹173.85, down 0.9 per cent.
Shreyas Shipping and Logistics has signed an agreement to acquire a container vessel of 1,700 teus. The delivery of the vessel, which would be deployed on the Indian coast, is expected in the third week of March, the company informed the stock exchanges. With this acquisition, the company will own a fleet of nine vessels. Shares of Shreyas Shipping edged up 0.23 per cent at ₹217.2 on the BSE.
